I am J Corporation ("we," "us," "our," or "J") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our "I am J" AI Agent App and website (the "Service").

Please read this policy carefully. By accessing and using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms, you must not access the Service.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information to provide and improve our Service to you.

2.1. Personal Information You Provide

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password.

  • Contact Information: If you contact our support, we may collect your name, email address, and the contents of your communication.

  • User Content: This includes all data, information, text, graphics, and materials that you input, upload, or generate while using the AI features of the Service. This is the core data we process to perform the tasks you request.

2.2. SOS Emergency Response Information (Optional)

  • Solely at Your Discretion, the Service includes an SOS Emergency Response Feature. You may choose to provide sensitive information to facilitate a faster emergency response. This information is entirely optional and is not required to use the core features of the Service.

  • This optional information may include:

    • Emergency Contacts: Names, relationships, and phone numbers/email addresses of individuals to be notified in an emergency.

    • Medical Information: Details about medications you are taking, known allergies, pre-existing medical conditions, or other health-related information.

    • Other Voluntary Details: Any other information you believe would be critical for emergency services or your designated contacts to have in a crisis situation (e.g., blood type).

2.3. Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We collect information on how the Service is accessed and used. This includes data such as your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

  • App & Feature Usage: We collect information about the specific AI features you use, the frequency and duration of your sessions, and your J-Coin consumption patterns. This helps us understand feature popularity and system load.

  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and hold certain information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for various purposes:

  • To Provide and Maintain the Service: To operate the Service, process your AI requests, and manage your account and subscription.

  • To Manage J-Coins: To track your J-Coin balance, consumption, and top-up history.

  • For SOS Emergency Response: Only if you have chosen to provide the information, we will use the optional SOS data solely for the purpose of sharing it with emergency services and/or your designated emergency contacts in the event you activate the SOS feature.

  • To Notify You: To send you low J-Coin warnings, service-related notices (such as updates to our terms or policies), and support messages.

  • To Improve the Service: To analyze usage trends and user behavior to enhance the performance, accuracy, and user experience of our AI features.

  • For Customer Support: To respond to your requests and resolve issues.

  • For Security: To monitor and protect the security of our Service, detect and prevent fraud, and address technical issues.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (For EEA/UK Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK, our legal basis for processing your personal information is:

  • The performance of our contract with you (i.e., to provide the Service as outlined in our Terms & Conditions).

  • Our legitimate interests in improving and securing our Service.

  • Explicit Consent: For the processing of any sensitive personal data you voluntarily provide in the SOS Emergency Response Feature, we rely on your explicit consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time by deleting the information from the feature

  • Your consent, which you may withdraw at any time, for other specific purposes we may identify.

5. How We Share and Disclose Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share information with third-party vendors, consultants, and other service providers who perform services for us and require the information to carry out that work (e.g., cloud hosting providers, data analytics services). These partners are bound by contractual obligations to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes we disclose.

  • For Emergency Response: In the critical event that you activate the SOS Emergency Response Feature, we will share the optional information you have provided exclusively with relevant emergency services (such as 911 and first responders) and the emergency contacts you have designated, to facilitate a rapid and informed response.

  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

  • Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners.

  • With Your Consent: We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

6. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information. This includes securing the highly sensitive, optional SOS data with encryption. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Your Data Protection Rights

You have certain rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access and Portability: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

  • Correction: You can request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You can request the deletion of your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions. You can always delete your optional SOS data directly within the app.

  • Restriction of Processing: You can request that we temporarily or permanently stop processing all or some of your personal data.

  • Objection to Processing: You can object to our processing of your personal data.

8. Specific Regional Disclosures

  • For California Residents (CCPA/CPRA): The California Consumer Privacy Act grants you the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as defined under the CCPA. You can exercise your rights by contacting us at corporate@iamj.ai.

  • For EEA/UK Residents (GDPR/UK GDPR): You have the rights listed in Section 7 of this policy. Our legal basis for processing is outlined in Section 4.

 

9. Data Retention

We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, or as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may update or delete your optional SOS Emergency Response information at any time through the app settings.

 

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice, such as an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after any change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
