Technical Functionality
Q3: How does the speech-to-text feature work?
A3: When you speak into the app, your audio is securely sent to our servers then it converts your speech into text. This text is then used by the AI to understand and fulfill your request. To accomplish the transcription, The audio is passed to high-accuracy speech recognition engines. I am J, instead of building in house speech recognicion models, J uses best-in-class third-party speech recognition engines for the lowest latency possible. Here is the current list of speech recognition services used: Deepgram, AssemblyAI, Google Sppech-to-text, Azure Speech-to-Text , Gladia, and OpenAI Whisper, I am J is constantly reviwing third party model that fit I am J´s customer experience strategy and is rapidly expanding and adjusting as Artificial Intelligence is an area that is rapidly growing and changing. In addition, there are other third party integrated internal APIs such as Twilio and Vapi, AWS Poly, and 11Labs that might internally use the same or other engines as part of their core solutions to I am J.
Q4: Which AI models does I am J use?
A4: I am J is powered by a suite of AI models to provide the best results for different tasks. LLM Custom: Mistral. LLM Private: GPT-4o, and Claude 3.5 Sonnet. Context Window: Gemini 1.5 Pro for reasoning. I am J microservices dynamically select the most appropriate model for your specific request.
Q5: Can I am J connect to other online services?
A5: Yes. I am J uses various APIs, J can fetch real-time information and perform actions with other services, providing you with current and relevant responses beyond standard AI knowledge.
Subscriptions, J-Coins & Payments
Q6: How do subscriptions and J-Coins work?
A6: Access to I am J's features is granted through subscriptions. Your subscription provides a monthly or yearly allocation of J-Coins. Using the app's various AI features consumes J-Coins based on the complexity and intensity of the task.
Q7: What happens if I run out of J-Coins?
A7: When your J-Coin balance gets low (at 20%), you'll receive a warning. If you fully deplete your J-Coins, the service will be interrupted. You then have two options:
1. Top Up: Purchase an additional pack of J-Coins via the in-app purchase system to continue using the service immediately.
2. Wait for Renewal: Your J-Coin balance will be automatically reset at the start of your next subscription cycle.
Q8: How can I purchase a subscription or more J-Coins?
A8: All financial transactions, including initial subscriptions and J-Coin top-ups, must be processed through the official in-app purchase (IAP) systems provided by the Apple App
Store and Google Play Store. We do not offer external payment methods for the mobile app.
Q9: What is your refund policy?
A9: All subscription fees and J-Coin top-up purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. We do not provide refunds for partially used periods or unused J-Coins. For payment or refund issues, please contact Apple or Google support directly, as they handle all financial transactions.

Q10: How is my data secured?
A10: We implement robust administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information. All communications between the app and our servers are encrypted. We comply with data protection regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
Q11: What is the SOS Emergency Response Feature?
A11: This is an optional feature that allows you, at your sole discretion, to store information for use in an emergency. You can choose to provide details like emergency contacts, medical conditions, and medications. This information is only shared with emergency services and your designated contacts if you activate the SOS feature.
Q12: Does I am J store my personal data?
A12: We only store personal information necessary to provide and improve the Service, in strict compliance with our Privacy Policy. You can manage and request the deletion of your data, including any optional SOS information, at any time.
